Majoring with a 1st Class Degree in Graphics from Middlesex University in 1994, I set up a series of artist studios in London, where I produced huge Rothko-esque screen prints and exhibited regularly.

In 1997 I met the comedian Dom Joly and the seeds were sown for the highly popular British TV series, Trigger Happy TV. Together, we spent the next three years perfecting anarchic guerrilla TV, which won us the Silver Rose D’Or at the 2000 Montreux Television Festival.

I signed to Rogue Films in May of the same year and ten days later directed my first commercial for Tango. I then directed 12 spots for Nike. Both of which went on to win awards at BTAA and Creative Circle in 2001.

During 2002 I shot ads for PS2, Lucozade Sport, Bacardi Breezer and two great spots for Fox Sports that won a Gold at the 2003 BTAA. I was also selected for the prestigious Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase at Cannes.

2004 brought a Silver Lion at Cannes for my VW ‘Welcome’ commercial and a BTAA nomination for Powergen ‘Bob’. I’m particularly proud that the ‘Toilet Service’ spot I directed for Virgin Mobile was the second most complained about ad of the year. I also made my US debut with an anarchic campaign for Ikea.

2005 saw more work in America and my Sprint commercial ‘The Man’ was honoured in both the ‘Talent/Performance’ and ‘Dialogue/Monologue’ categories at the 2006 AICP show in New York and is therefore kept in the permanent collection of MOMA.

In January of 2007 I moved to Los Angeles and continued shooting performance driven commercials for the likes of Burger King, Playstation and T-Mobile. My ‘Flight Attendant’ spot for TJMaxx was a finalist at Cannes 2008, ads for J&R were nominated in 2009 and my Hardee’s 'A v’s B' spot was voted the funniest commercial of 2009 by the TBS channel.

In 2010, Dom and I sold our first screenplay, War Of The Flea, to Brilliant Films and at Cannes 2011 my Febreeze work won Silver and Bronze.
